Soooo those are my thoughts about "Children of Earth"

Ugh...my hand has been cramping non-stop ever since I started rebffing the walls in my room. Anyone have to relieve hand cramps?

Even though I really shouldn't (just been avoiding it, etc. well since going thru a rough patch and want to avoid certain people just because) and I come upon this news (from Panic! At the Disco aka P! ATD...oh yeah I keep the exclamation point in there when it isn't suppose to be) in my feed:

We just wanted to let you know, that the news of Ryan and Jon leaving the band is unfortunately true. It's been an amazing journey being in a band with them, but sometimes individual tastes take friends in different directions and you can't ignore it. They are some of the most talented guys we know, and we're sure that whatever they do next will be great. That said, Panic At The Disco is alive and very very well. We are working on new songs that we are excited for you to hear. Our dates with Blink and Fall Out Boy start in a little less than a month, and we wouldn't miss those for the world. We know everybody has a lot of questions at this point with everything being so out of the blue, most of those should be answered in the coming weeks. We appreciate every one of you, and hope you continue with us on this incredible ride.

Pay attention we have a surprise in store for you.

TOO SHOCKING since Ryan is the main songwriter (I recognize him as that because of A Fever You Can't Sweat Out...couldn't really get into Pretty. Odd)...I'd probably understand Jon leaving since he joined after Brent was let go. You know, he didn't know those guys since childhood or whatever. I wonder if they have two people already replacing Jon and Ryan? I know they have shows with Blink 182 and No Doubt coming up....hmmm

EDIT:Just saw on P! ATD's Wikipedia entry it is a Matt Murphy and Tord Overlond-Knudsen (of The Wombats) are filling in for Ryan and Jon respectively.

Even though I'm in a crappy mood today...SHOCKED/SURPRISED to hear the "King of Pop" has died :( Sure he was a freak...as of recent, but you can't deny...he IS one of the best music icons EVER.




My condolences to his family....wow at a loss for words....

Farrah Fawcett and Ed McMahon passing away within a week or so....

about Veronica Mars...yeah yea its from the 3rd season (where the "main mystery" arch became smaller than the previous seasons and "catered" to the new CW demographic/crowd or whatever)..

But I DO LOVE the usage of the Fatboy Slim tune :)

Anyone know why Ian is no longer with The Cab (that is if you some of you guys are fans, etc.)? I noticed he's no longer listed on their PureVolume and MySpace page.

I can't believe MP hasn't AGED! (sure there's make-up involved, but still) I had to do a double take when I saw him come out because I thought it was a look-alike...lol. And yep, I still watch SBTB when I can and know the references MP/Zack is talking about (ex: Johnny Dakota)

Heh while watching the MTV Movie Awards last night....I was highly amused when there were woohoo cheers for shirtless Jacob LOL.

Found it on supernatural.tv. I must say...I'm SOOO amused by the hand coming out of the grave lol.

I'm in trouble :( I get the feeling I got it from a friend of mine Sunday (around that time my lips/face felt a bit itchy...I thought it was just a cold sore)...but who knows. Hell, I might've gotten it from running. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to Poison Ivy/Oak...had a bad experience with it when I was 8...my face was swollen, eyes swollen shut, water blisters formed in between my fingers (and I popped them lol).

Anywho I've gotten it over the years after but its hard to NOT scratch etc.

Just out of curiosity...how do you hear/know of new bands/musicians....from radio, TV shows or Internet?

I find myself discovering more and more bands from TV shows...maybe with Internet (MySpace, PureVolume and Imeem) coming in a close second. I assume maybe because...well if it impresses me with the way a song is placed in a scene or whatever...I have to seek it out (am I making sense? lol)

I'm on a "wait and see" how it is...used to be a fan of Kevin Williamson's work before. So....anyways wonder if Smallville will survive in the "death slot" aka Fridays 8PM. The Vampire Diaries is taking over its old time slot (8PM Thursdays) therefore...being aired before Supernatural. In all honesty, I think next season of Smallville should be the LAST...personally I thought the show lost "momentum" (in my eyes) around the 4th season well the overall story arc was blah and there was a minor goof of it that annoyed me. For some reason I still can tolerate watching it...but with a grain of salt (lol if that makes sense).

First...thanks to everyone who came and most esp. to the host, franzeska!

Anywho some highlights:

-Everyone talking/poking fun while I tried to watch the season finale of Smallville (no worries though since I watched it ALONE in SILENT today :))

-Hard cider was in stock! (Thanks franzeska!) LOOVE hard cider although the second one I had..thought it was cider, but it wasn't (some ale thing) and therefore continued drinking it.

-beatlette putting her hand onto the TV screen TWICE...trying to touch either Sam or Dean? BTW good call on bringing pie since it was mentioned twice in the show...you Nostredamus? LOL

-I seem to recall slash scenarios (between Castiel and Dean) being talked about?

since its far better than MySpace although its been struggling to stay afloat (Imeem that is)
